For those that have been waiting for a mech game that isn't Transformers or Armored Core to play, you may have finally gotten your wish. Vancouver based, Piranha Games has confirmed they are developing the next MechWarrior game in conjunction with Smith & Tinker. The game has been confirmed for both PC and the Xbox 360.
As a promotion for the announcement, Smith & Tinker also announced that they would be bringing MechWarrior 4 and its many expansions as a free download through Battletech.com.
A release date for both the download and the announced title have not been indicated.
